More about the roleThis is an exciting job opportunity for an Industrial/Quality Engineer in the Operations ModShop in Southaven, MS, with Signify.
Create fast and efficient NPIs (New Product Introductions) and transferences (production and process design). Act as project leader for improvement of manufacturing processes, production and documentation, and minimizing process disruptions and down time. Develop and train on standards supporting production system.
Ensure optimized product designs are introduced in compliance with NPDL process (New Product Development & Launch) and APQP. Support activities related to supply chain through SAP.Implement and improve industrial quality functional excellence, monitor KPI’s, and initiate corrective and continuous improvement actions. Define and support implementation of quality controls, systems and document control. Manage process quality and customer complaints.
Lead development and sustaining of product PPAP documentation during NPI’s and mass production.
Manage, sustain, and ensure compliance of industrial test solutions to prevent line disruptions and optimize cycle time, harmonizing production flow and reducing false failures.
Coordinate actions for preparation, realization, release and sustaining of equipment and processes for functional testing/programming and printers.

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, orrelated, and 1+ years of work experience supporting manufacturing operations of mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electronic assemblies for low/medium volume and high mix productsExperience working with
NPI/NPDL
product lines and transferring between manufacturing centersIndustrial Quality experience: supplier, process and customer quality. Experience with quality tools (i.e., PPAP, 8D, FMEA with Control Plan, MSA, SPC)Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or global regulatory requirements, environmental, and safety regulationsExperience with electrical testing, measuring equipment (i.e., multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.), and interpretation of electrical diagrams (LabVIEW SW preferred)Preferred knowledge of communication protocols (i.e., RS232, GPIB, etc.) and SAP•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

$61,200 – 89,760 based on experience
Bonus:
target bonus opportunity – 5%
