We arecurrently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Accountantto join our team in the engineering industry. This is a permanentposition, offering an excellent opportunity to work in afast-paced, high-growth environment. The successful candidate willplay a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, includingpurchases, sales, receipts, and payments, while also beingresponsible for the preparation and coordination of our financialstatements.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation offinancial reports such as financial statements and budgetperformance. 2. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules,regulations, and systems of internal control. 3. Aid in theimplementation of new accounting policies, standards, andguidelines. 4. Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording,reporting, and analysis of financial information. 5. Handlemonthly, quarterly, and annual closings. 6. Reconcile financialdiscrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. 7.Secure financial information by completing database backups. 8.Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. 9.Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting taskswithin deadlines. 10. Generate financial reports and statements forreview by management. 11. Perform month-end accounting activitiessuch as reconciliations and journal entries. 12. Handle expensereporting and manage Concur software. 13. Set up new vendors in thesystem and maintain existing ones.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting or related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years ofexperience in accounting or related field. 3. Excellentunderstanding of accounting principles and financial analysis. 4.Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software(preferably Concur). 5. Excellent numerical skills with anattention to detail. 6. Time management and organizationalabilities. 7. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously andmeet tight deadlines. 8. Excellent written and verbal communicationskills. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10.Experience with month-end processes and expense reporting iscrucial. 11. Experience in vendor set up and management isrequired. 12. Knowledge of the engineering industry would be anadded advantage.
