Baleen Process Solutions has an open on-site full-time position in Covington, LA for an experienced accountant to assist with the accounting and administrative functions of the company. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Ownership of payroll process and record keeping. Assist in receivables and payables processes. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and relevant regulations. Support budgeting and forecasting activities. Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management. Assist in administrative and value-added tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferrable. CPA certification is preferred but not required. 2+ years of experience in an accounting role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel. Experience with QuickBooks Good written and verbal communication skills.

$60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
