We’re seeking a Staff Accountant, who will be responsible for managing the entire cycle of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This individual executes mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, produces accurate reporting, and collaborates with employees across all departments and levels in the Company. What You’ll Do at Validic Ensure complete, accurate, and timely processing of Accounts Receivable, including collection, payment application, and aging analysis Ensure complete, accurate, and timely processing of Accounts Payable, including employee expense reports Ensure complete, accurate, and timely processing of journal entries and other general ledger maintenance Support full-cycle vendor management Support inventory management Perform month-end close activities to include balance sheet reconciliations, trial balance analysis, and resolution of account discrepancies Participate proactively in process improvement and ensure compliance with all financial controls Ensure operating results are recorded in accordance with US GAAP Assist with monthly budget variance reports Participate in the annual and interim audit process as needed Complete ad hoc analyses as needed What You’ll Bring to Validic Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline or equivalent experience required At least one to three years of relevant general corporate accounting experience with exposure to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, GL, and journal entries required Demonstrable knowledge of US GAAP required Demonstrable experience with accounting system software required, with Sage Intacct preferred Experience with Salesforce desired Experience working in the healthcare, SaaS, and/or third-party logistics industries preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Achievement-driven, with a “can-do” attitude Ability to work independently with minimal direction Ability to think outside the box, work on complex issues, push personal limits, and cohesively learn and share with team members Conscientious with a strong sense of duty and responsibility Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to embrace feedback and be accountable Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Self-driven, motivated, and eager to learn, with a passion for process improvement Why You’ll Love Validic Our team is great.  Remote U.S. Based

• Our core hours are 10:00 a.m
• 4:00 p.

m. Eastern Time.
Reports to: Assistant Controller

Status:

Full-Time/Exempt

• No contract or contract to hire requests are being considered.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $65,000

• 75,000 per year plus bonus.

Placement within salary range is determined by level of education, knowledge and skills, and relevant years of experience beyond the minimum job requirements. Benefits include medical/dental/vision/life insurance, flexible spending accounts, equity, 401(k), and flexible time off/work schedule.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer in various environments with multiple distractions. Must be able to travel up to 10%. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
