Senior Accountant (High Salary) Position Available In Grafton, New Hampshire

Job Description:

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring theaccuracy and integrity of financial reporting for Kaydon Ring &Seal operations. Senior Accountant is responsible for analyzingfinancial statements, supporting the month-end and year-end closeprocesses, and ensuring compliance with both internal policies andexternal regulations. Senior Accountant will collaborate withvarious departments to gather necessary data, provide financialinsights, and support audits and reviews. The role requires stronganalytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles,and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamicenvironment. Job Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Financial Duties

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financialreporting
• Prepare Journal entries for month end closing
• ICOaccruals and cash settlement
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Payroll and payroll accounting experience
• AP/AR controls andreview responsibility
• 1099 preparation Inventory
• Assist withyearend inventory count and GL adjustments as required
• Work withoperation to clear any inventory issues Banking
• Approve ACH andwire activity
• Reconcile monthly bank statements Forecast/Budgets
• Provide input in the preparation of forecasts and budgets asrequired Analysis
• Review financials P&L and Balance Sheet forappropriateness Tax
• Prepare sales tax for filings and payments
• Assist with business tax filing
• Tax research as required FixedAsset
• Ensure fixed assets are appropriately recorded anddepreciated
• Prepare entries for depreciation
• Maintain accurateregisters that tie monthly to the financial statements Month end
• Prepare JEs for Kaydon Ring & Seal operations Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• required
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in manufacturingenvironment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Business Central aplus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
