RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for supervision of the Accounts Payable and Grant position(s) as assigned, and oversight and coordination of effective departmental operations amongst the various roles.
Prepare timely monthly bank statement reconciliations in accordance with the financial closing cycle.
Maintain fixed asset records and ensure accurate integration with financial software systems. Monitor grant activity as it pertains to the financial statements monthly, ensuring all activity is accurately recorded. Assist staff in periodic grant reporting and invoicing as needed, and work with various staff to ensure necessary documentation to support funding is available.
Ensure timely completion of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for the following accounts: CashPrepaidGrantsFixed AssetsPayableAccrued Expenses Collaborate with the Controller and other staff to support all financial audits by preparing necessary reconciliations and ensuring appropriate supporting documentation is in place. Serve as a backup for Payroll Processing.
Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
