Role:

We are looking for a proactive Senior Fund Accountant to handle various accounting tasks, ensure financial data accuracy, and support the organization’s financial health. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. CPA is required.

Responsibilities:

Calculate management fees and profit shares.
Prepare year-end tax documents.
Review and process accounts payable.
Analyze Fund of Funds and Private Wealth performance.
Model liquidation events.
Enter wire and ACH transactions.
Monitor daily cash balances.
Reconcile cash flow files weekly.
Send quarterly documentation to Fund Administrators and External Accountants.
Prepare quarterly management reports.
Provide audit requests and confirmations.
Perform weekly cash reconciliations.
Organize annual insurance documentation.
Reconcile vendor payments for 1099 reporting.
Analyze data for ADV and SEC filings.
Pull cash balances and NAVs for partners.
Provide partner tax documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA required.
2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in investment funds or financial services.
Big 4 audit background highly preferred
Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
