We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and must have prior experience in a staff accounting role. This is not an entry-level transactional role; we are looking for someone who has worked across multiple areas of accounting—not just accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries Provide support for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions Contribute to internal and external audit processes, including document preparation and coordination Assist with payroll-related accounting tasks as needed Maintain accurate financial records and support the team in achieving timely and accurate reporting Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and continuity during the Accounting Manager’s leave

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required) Prior experience as a Staff Accountant or in a relevant accounting internship is required Broad accounting experience across areas like AP, AR, journal entries, month-end close, and audits Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

Preferred:
