Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in supporting both accounting operations and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience , a strong grasp of accounting principles, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general and cost accounting duties in accordance with established accounting standards Reconcile financial accounts, including cash disbursements, payroll, customer accounts, and inventory Manage accounts receivable collections and follow up on outstanding balances Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments Oversee cash disbursements and fixed asset reporting Assist with monthly financial closings and support billing processes Prepare and provide documentation for external audits Maintain up-to-date financial data within the ERP system Stay current on accounting and payroll regulations and best practices Process payroll (salaries, deductions, benefits, garnishments, taxes) Manage payroll changes for new hires, terminations, and rate updates Maintain accurate payroll records and generate related reports Issue and manage customer credits in coordination with finance and sales teams Assist with annual budgeting processes Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and payroll processing Experience in cost accounting is required Strong understanding of GAAP and payroll regulations. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work. • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
