Position Summary The Accountant supports the daily operations ofthe Accounting Department, with responsibilities including accountspayable (AP), payroll assistance, general ledger maintenance, fixedasset accounting, daily cash deposits, month-end close activities,account reconciliations, and ad hoc projects assigned by the CFO orController. This role aligns with the mission, vision, and valuesof the organization. Qualifications Associate’s Degree required;Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred Minimum of 1-2 years ofrelevant accounting experience Proficient in Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Performance Expectations Perform monthly reconciliations andmaintain the fixed asset accounting system Support payroll, AP, andgeneral ledger functions Ensure accurate and timely completion ofmonth-end close processes Execute assigned special projects withminimal supervision Physical Requirements Ability to work 8-hourshifts or longer as needed Capable of bending, stooping, squatting,and reaching overhead Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs NescoResource offers a comprehensive benefits package for ourassociates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) planthat encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (EmployeeAssistance Program) services.
