Job Description:

Accounting Supervisor Overview:

The Accounting Supervisorreports to the VP Finance/Corporate Controller and is responsiblefor managing the month-end close process, applying accountingprinciples to analyze financial information, preparing accuratefinancial reports, and ensuring proper accounting controls andcompliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurategeneral ledgers with proper documentation of assets, liabilities,and transactions Prepare and review month-end journal entries andadhere to close schedules Complete monthly balance sheet accountreconciliations with attention to detail Prepare consolidatedfinancial statements and analyze data to identify trends formanagement Support annual budgeting and periodic forecastingactivities Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintainadherence to GAAP Implement and maintain strong internal controlsto prevent fraud and errors Assist with new accountingpronouncements implementation Support external auditors duringyear-end financial and 401K audits Provide assistance to thefinance leadership team on various projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA and Public Accountingexperience preferred 5 years of relevant work experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI Comprehensiveknowledge of GAAP and relevant regulations Strong communication andorganizational skills Detail-oriented with excellent analyticalabilities Effective time management and prioritization skillsDemonstrated commitment to quality and professional excellence
