The Adjuster will be responsible for inspecting, estimating, documenting and providing comprehensive reports on residential and commercial property claims. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be adept at scoping and documenting property damage, and utilizing estimating software to ensure accurate claim assessments. Responsibilities Review and analyze claims to determine the validity and extent of damage. Investigate claims by gathering information from various sources, including insureds, witnesses, and possible responsible parties. Evaluate and determine the nature of damages. Experience with tools like Xactimate , Symbility , or similar Comfortable climbing roofs, entering crawl spaces, or dealing with storm-damaged properties Skills Proficiency in estimating repair/replacement costs Critical thinking to evaluate cause, liability, and potential fraud Communicating with policyholders, contractors, attorneys, and insurers Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple claims simultaneously. Strong time management : juggling multiple claims and deadlines Self-discipline as many work on a 1099 basis with minimal supervision Ability to compare estimates, contractor quotes, and field observations Strong grammar, spelling, and formatting for professional reports Join our team as an Adjuster where your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to providing excellent service while ensuring fair treatment for all parties involved in the claims process.
