The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting, and providing essential support to our financial operations. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles. Duties Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and updating the general ledger. Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliation, to ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date. Utilize financial software such as Quickbooks for bookkeeping tasks and reporting. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports to assist management in decision-making. Assist with corporate accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable. Collaborate with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and support. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies related to financial reporting. Qualifications Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles. Proficiency in financial software, particularly Quickbooks. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Familiarity with account reconciliation processes is preferred. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
