Bookkeeper – Family Office
Location:
Connecticut
Client Partner:

Compensation:
$26 – $28/hour
Schedule:
Monday through Friday (On-Site)
Ledgent Finance & Accounting’s client is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to support their prestigious family office in Connecticut. This vital role blends administrative and accounting responsibilities, specifically supporting a personal family business . The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions, and contributing to the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate ie and expense records, post transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports. Includes A/P and A/R for various family members and family-owned entities.
Financial Statements:
Assist with the preparation of ie statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Record Management:
Organize and maintain financial documentation such as invoices and receipts.
Administrative Support:
Provide clerical and administrative support to the family office, including data entry, filing, and special projects.
Tax Support:
Assist with tax preparation bypiling necessary documentation for returns.
Compliance:
Ensure all financial activitiesply with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks )
Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion
