Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices for accuracy. Process payments via checks, ACH, or other approved methods. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address inquiries or issues. Assist in month-end closing tasks, including AP accruals and reporting. Maintain organized AP records in compliance with company and audit requirements. Support internal audits and external audits as needed. Ensure proper coding of expenses to appropriate accounts and branches. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a construction, service, or equipment rental environment. Proficiency with RentalMan is a plus. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred.
