Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to handle bookkeeping and administrative tasks for our construction business. This role requires a combination of financial expertise and strong administrative skills to support our operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Process invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments. Prepare financial reports, bank reconciliations, and job cost tracking. Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Assist with project budgeting and cost control. Maintain organized and up-to-date files, both digital and physical. Coordinate office activities, including scheduling, communication, and correspondence. Provide administrative support to project managers and field teams. Assist in preparing and submitting permits, contracts, and compliance documents.

What we are looking for:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative support, preferably in the construction industry. Proficiency in Accounting software such as Sage300 or Sage Intact, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Construction software such as Procore. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of construction industry practices, including job costing and lien waivers, is a plus.
