Essex, CT area

Schedule:

Prefer Monday-Friday, approximately 9 AM-2 PM timeframe, but open to other arrangements, including 4 days/week. Potential to increase hours over time if desired. Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in QuickBooks and bookkeeping? A highly regarded company in Connecticut is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support their Accounting Manager. Key Responsibilities:

+ Record and process financial transactions, including accounts payable, billing, expense reports, invoices, and payments, ensuring timely and accurate data entry. + Reconcile financial accounts, including bank statements and credit card statements. + Manage the billing process using Excel spreadsheets with large datasets (e.g., filtering, sorting, and applying formulas). + Respond to billing inquiries and accounts payable tasks. + Assist with annual audits, preparation of 1099s, etc.

Your Qualifications:

+ QuickBooks experience (Online preferred) + Proficient in Excel, including filtering, sorting, and formulas. + At least 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, with a strong focus on detail-oriented work.
