The Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports, and recording a wide range of transactions. Their duties include providing administrative assistance to accountants as well as preparing statements that confirm the accuracy of database information.
- Support the real estate team and staff accountants with various accounting functions as needed
- Communicate with vendors, partners, and internal staff to ensure timely payments and accurate financial records
- Process accounts payable daily, verifying the accuracy of invoices and expense reports
- Review and reconcile agent billing discrepancies
- Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems for proper recordkeeping
- Serve as backup for processing commission checks
- Reconcile commission payments and Realtor accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Manage daily processing of incoming wire transfers
- Maintain and update transaction software and related spreadsheets
- Act as the primary point of contact for agents, responding to inquiries via email and phone
- Oversee data and contract management to ensure regulatory and internal compliance

- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
- Able to write and speak with vendors and clients effectively
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Has used software daily in previous positions to accomplish daily tasks
- Familiarity with a HUD closing statement is a plus
