The Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports, and recording a wide range of transactions. Their duties include providing administrative assistance to accountants as well as preparing statements that confirm the accuracy of database information.

  • Support the real estate team and staff accountants with various accounting functions as needed
  • Communicate with vendors, partners, and internal staff to ensure timely payments and accurate financial records
  • Process accounts payable daily, verifying the accuracy of invoices and expense reports
  • Review and reconcile agent billing discrepancies
  • Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems for proper recordkeeping
  • Serve as backup for processing commission checks
  • Reconcile commission payments and Realtor accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
  • Manage daily processing of incoming wire transfers
  • Maintain and update transaction software and related spreadsheets
  • Act as the primary point of contact for agents, responding to inquiries via email and phone
  • Oversee data and contract management to ensure regulatory and internal compliance

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
  • Able to write and speak with vendors and clients effectively
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Has used software daily in previous positions to accomplish daily tasks
  • Familiarity with a HUD closing statement is a plus
