The goal of the Neurodiversity Hiring Program is to build an inclusive hiring approach that recognizes and embraces the strengths of Neurodiverse candidates. Neurodiversity encompasses a wide range of cognitive differences, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia & dyscalculia. The Accounting Specialist III is responsible for executing operational accounting tasks and resolving related issues in line with established procedures. This includes supporting general accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly closings. The role also involves analytical research, decision-making, and exception handling within the line of business. Line of Business Overview – Foreign Cash Letter Operations The Enterprise Transaction Services team supports Foreign Cash Letter Operations. This unit processes foreign checks/items deposited by retail and commercial customers through financial centers, lockbox locations, or direct sends.

Key activities include:

Receiving and scanning mail Keying and perfecting foreign items Handling exceptions Collaborating with domestic and international partners (e.g., Foreign Exchange, Treasury Services) Responding to daily inquiries and research requests Key Responsibilities Reconcile bank accounts and balance general/subsidiary ledgers Process payments, deposits, and transactions Compile data for monthly closings Follow workflow processes and meet SLAs, laws, and regulations Apply advanced analysis and adhere to accounting procedures Use various processing and accounting tools to support workflows Research and analyze cases and procedures as needed Required Qualifications 1+ year of accounting or operations experience Knowledge of general ledger, debits, and credits Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate as a team Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong attention to detail, numerical proficiency, and organizational skills Self-motivated, results-oriented, and solutions-driven Strong problem-solving, research, technical, and analytical abilities Experience with operational accounting processes and compliance standards High School Diploma / GED (or equivalent) Desired Qualifications Familiarity with foreign checks and exchange rates Experience with systems/tools such as: CashManager
