Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Dedham, Massachusetts. In this Contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and donation tracking processes. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong organizational skills and expertise in accounting systems.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
• Handle invoice payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Allocate and track donations, maintaining detailed and organized records.
• Perform reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy and consistency.
• Apply payments efficiently, maintaining proper documentation.
• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline financial operations.
• Collaborate with team members to support auditing and billing functions.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and policies.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Maintain high attention to detail in all accounting functions. Requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ERP platforms.
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Familiarity with donation tracking and allocation.
• Strong skills in financial reconciliation and payment application.
• Knowledge of auditing and billing procedures.
• Ability to work effectively with tools like ADP, Ceridian, and Concur.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Prior experience in a similar accounting role.
