Temporary Payment Processing Specialist
Norwood, MA Temporary $23.00 – $25.00/hr Onsite Job Description Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a reputable organization in Norwood, MA, to hire a Temporary Payment Processing Specialist. This is a leave coverage role ideal for candidates with strong transactional accounts payable experience, excellent attention to detail, and comfort working with multiple banking platforms and accounting systems.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday Responsibilities:
Handle the intake and deposit of incoming checks across multiple bank accounts
Batch and reconcile payments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client accounts and claim details
Accurately post payments in the internal accounting platform (FACs)
Manage daily interactions with banking portals, processing transactions securely and efficiently
Maintain accurate records and help reconcile any payment discrepancies
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure payment processes are aligned with client needs
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a high-volume transactional Accounts Payable or Payment Processing role
Strong skills in matching, batching, coding, and reconciling financial transactions
Experience working with customer or client portals for payment entry and verification
Comfortable managing multiple bank accounts and banking platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
Experience using accounting software such as MS Dynamics, Great Plains, Sage, or similar; FACs experience is a plus
