Accounts Payable and Expense Consultant 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars Boston, MA 02111 • Hybrid work Accounts Payable and Expense Consultant – Private Equity – Boston, MA We are seeking candidates for an Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense Consultant position with a leading private equity firm located in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Concur and relevant Corporate Card Program administration experience . This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a top-tier finance team within a highly respected organization if you have 3+ years of AP and T&E experience and strong proficiency in Concur. This is a 3+ month contract position that will pay up to $45-55/hr (depending on experience) within a 40 hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 3 days per week in their Boston office.
Responsibilities:
Administer SAP Concur Expense and Intelligence:
Manage expense reports and generate insights using Concur Intelligence reporting tools
Corporate Card Program Management:
Oversee the company’s corporate card programs, including onboarding, compliance, and troubleshooting. Preferred Experience with
American Express and Workday ERP:
Handle transactions smoothly with these tools (strongly preferred but not required).
Accounts Payable Support:
Manage the AP mailbox, respond to inquiries, and ensure smooth payment processing.
Travel & Expense Operations:
Ensure timely reconciliation of expenses and daily report submissions to leadership.
Administrative Tasks:
Provide light administrative support as needed, including daily reporting and monitoring the AP workflow.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (required) 3-5+ years of T&E and AP experience Must have prior experience with SAP Concur Expense and Intelligence. Must have experience managing Corporate Card Programs (AMEX preferred). Experience with Workday ERP is a strong plus. Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proven ability to analyze data and generate reports accurately and efficiently.
