About the Role As our Lead Finance Associate , you’ll take ownership of key finance operations while supervising and mentoring a team of three associates. From managing payroll and tax filings to overseeing reconciliations and improving financial workflows, you’ll play a central role in the financial success of our company. What You’ll Do Lead monthly and quarterly financial reconciliations across all accounts (bank, credit card, internal ledgers). Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Process payroll weekly for 75 employees, ensuring full compliance with all regulations. Coordinate and calculate commission payments with the sales team. Prepare and file state and federal tax reports (including payroll and sales tax). Support the month-end close process and help prepare financial statements. Identify and implement process improvements and best practices in collaboration with the CFO. Maintain accurate, organized financial records and support audits as needed. Supervise and develop a team of three finance associates. What You Bring 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting , ideally in a company of 50-100 employees. Proficiency in QuickBooks , Excel , and financial tools like Gusto , ADP , or Xero . Solid experience with payroll processing , commissions , and financial compliance. Familiarity with state and federal tax filings and payroll tax laws. Strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities.
