Summary:

The Specialist Accounts Payable is responsible for all aspects of the accounts payable cycle. This includes receiving, verifying and processing invoices while adhering to payment terms and company policies. Responsibilities also include ensuring timely payments, maintaining accurate records and reconciling vendor statements. This position would also handle inquiries from vendors and managers for assigned accounts.

EDUCATION

High School degree or equivalent education Associates Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

Accounts Payable experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

Strong PC computer skills utilizing Microsoft Excel & Word software applications Experience operating Infor Lawson ERP system a plus Planning, organization and efficiency; an ability to plan and manage multiple tasks, manage high volume of invoices and payments efficiently Ability to successfully carry out roles and responsibilities within a team based work environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Process excellent communications skills, problem-solving abilities, customer service, and organizational skills
