Position Overview The Accounts Payable Specialist is an integral part of the accounting department. You will be responsible for performing efficient processing and invoicing of vessel voyages along with accurate rebilling of charterer and owner expenses in line with the client’s terms and conditions. You will ensure proper billing of all vessel voyages within the targeted time frame to improve cash flow. General Responsibilities In conjunction with training and proficiency in the Company’s Dynamics SL Accounting System, the Accounts Payable Specialist will: Generate agency charges based upon Manager’s Pricing Sheets, communication supports, and proof against current tariffs. Responsible for posting of handwritten checks generated from related company offices. Organize and prepare final disbursement accounts for dissemination. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding assigned accounts. Develop working relationships with clients to facilitate inquiries concerning various accounts. Responsible for fostering working relationships with managers and agents. Provide analysis reporting as required by management. Carry out job functions in accordance with

ISO 9001

2015 procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications Education:

Associate degree preferred, or an equivalent amount of education and experience Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite as well as the ability to quickly learn Microsoft Dynamics SL Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Strong desire for continued growth and learning We offer a competitive salary as well as a company sponsored 401k and medical/dental plan.
