MONDAY – THURSDAY (10 HOUR

SHIFTS – FRIDAYS OFF

)! Bookkeeper A Bookkeeper is responsible for supporting all areas of the accounting department, reporting to the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Financial reporting and reconciling as required Month-end and year-end closing tasks as directed Communicating with customers and vendors as it relates to billing Assisting with administrative tasks as needed Accounting clerical maintenance including but not limited to, filing, scanning, uploads to server, boxing year-end files for storage and other tasks as directed. Requirements The Bookkeeper is required to oversee all aspects of the accounting departments’ day-to-day operations. Must maintain strict customer and company confidentiality per governmental regulations. Must be able to work closely with Purchasing and Shipping/Sales to resolve any and all supplier and customer invoicing issues. Operate computers to record, store, and analyze information. Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers within ERP program. Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software. Receive, record, and deposit checks and bank transfer payment. Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations. Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses. Code documents according to company procedures. Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records. Highly analytical and able to multi- task. Meets deadlines, prioritizes company assignments and maintains professional composure under pressure and dynamic conditions. Ability to research, compile, analyze, and interpret data Qualifications (minimum required): 3-5+ years’ experience in finance or bookkeeping preferably in Manufacturing Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field or 6+ years’ experience as a bookkeeper Ability to work independently under strict deadlines in fast paced environment Problem solving and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail and highly organized is a must. Proficiencies in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to learn new software in a growing and changing company environment Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills Experience with ERP system Priority is preferred but not required

Job Type:

Full-time Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
