Responsibilities:

Serves as knowledge expert in all clinical regulatory and compliance areas; works with Administrators, department heads, technical staff and clinical staff to manage the required processes to ensure organizational quality objectives are achieved; seeks out and maintains current knowledge of all regulatory compliance updates; develops roadmap for USA Health to achieve regulatory and compliance objectives; develops training materials and workflows to be used by educators; monitors and reports effectiveness of quality initiatives; collaborates with clinical application vendors to build and maintain quality programs applicable to their software; conducts programming functions, reporting writing and quality assurance checks; studies reports to make sure everything is up-to-date with compliance; works with other to establish workflows; ensures end-users follow steps to ensure compliance; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required; related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and three years of IT, EHR or directly related experience. Directly related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required education. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
