Chargeback Specialist 1.3 1.3 out of 5 stars 1211 SE 28th St, Bentonville, AR 72712 LaRose Industries LLC, dba Cra-Z-Art, a stationery, activities, arts & crafts manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Retail Compliance & Deduction Analyst to join our team and take ownership of managing, challenging, and reducing chargebacks, deductions, and fines issued by Walmart. This position plays a critical role in protecting company revenue by ensuring compliance with retailer requirements and recovering funds through timely dispute resolution.
Responsibilities:
Analyze Walmart chargebacks, deductions, and compliance fines (e.g., OTIF, SQEP, etc.). Investigate root causes by reviewing shipping, order, and invoicing data. Prepare and submit accurate, data-backed dispute packages through Walmart’s Retail Link and other portals. Track dispute outcomes and calculate recovery rates and trends. Spearhead cross-functional process improvements internally to streamline compliance and reduce supplier deductions, fines, and chargebacks. Utilize HighRadius software to manage and track disputes and deduction workflows. Leverage knowledge of the NextGen Co-op system for ad management, fund tracking, and vendor chargeback reconciliation. Work cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service teams to implement process improvements and prevent future fines. Stay updated on Walmart compliance policies and enforcement trends. Build and maintain reports to monitor fines, dispute status, and performance KPIs. Recommend policy or process changes based on findings. Serve as the internal expert on Walmart compliance, chargebacks, and recovery strategy.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in deductions management, retail compliance, or a similar role—preferably with Walmart or other large retailers. Familiarity with Walmart’s Retail Link, OTIF, SQEP, and common chargeback codes. Strong hands-on experience using HighRadius for deduction tracking and resolution. Basic understanding of NextGen Co-op system functionality, including ad management, fund tracking, and vendor chargeback reconciliation. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and ERP/reporting systems. Excellent written and verbal communication for presenting cases and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Highly organized, deadline-driven, and self-motivated.
