Pay Grade:

53 Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education Minimum Qualifications 1. Four (4) years of experience in the use of accounting principles, techniques, theories; AND 2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, public or business administration; OR 3. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 4. CPA may substitute for two (2) years of experience or Certified County Finance Officer may substitute for one (1) year of experience. 5.

PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Duties/Responsibilities 1.Oversee the daily activities of the procurement card program. 2.Participate in procurement card reviews and audits and provide reports as needed. 3.Collect and maintain procurement card logs. 4.Address any issues or problems related to procurement card usage. 5.Ensures fund categories are available and within budgetary guidelines for travel. 6.Obtains reservations for air, train, or car travel and hotel or other housing accommodations. 7.Calculates estimated travel rates and expenses, using items such as rate tables and calculators (GSA.gov). 8.Assists personnel in completing travel forms and other business transactions about travel. 9.Assists with special requests or complex travel arrangements. 10.Reviews and processes travel authorization. 11.Performs other related duties as required or directed. KSA’s 1. Knowledge of general accounting principles and the ability to research any discrepancies. 2. Knowledge of the rules, regulations and contract requirements governing the agency’s financial record keeping operations. 3. Ability to analyze financial information, provide an assessment or interpretation of the information and recommend actions based on the analysis. 4. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written. 5. Ability to organize and monitor multiple projects giving periodic assessments as needed or requested. 6. Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and other County software applications. Special Requirements 1. Must be available weekends and/or after regular work hours. 2. Will be required to travel to locations outside of the office.
