$22•26 / hour, depending on experience We are seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a company in Shelton, CT. This position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. The role is responsible for managing credit approvals, customer collections, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records to support the company’s AR function. Responsibilities Manage credit and collections activities in line with company policies Issue and verify customer invoices, and post to the AR system Track outstanding balances and follow up proactively on overdue payments Review and obtain customer credit reports and financial statements for credit approval Collaborate with customers and internal departments to resolve disputes and chargebacks cash receipts, post adjustments, and maintain detailed AR account records Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and aligned with the AR subledger Reconcile AR and related general ledger accounts Prepare regular aging reports and other AR-related reporting Support accurate and timely month-end close Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable Strong understanding of AR processes, GL reconciliation, and financial reporting Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities INDA Collection Specialist • Shelton, CT, US Related jobs Promoted Housing & Credit Specialist Goodwill of Sacramento Valley & Northern NV Mather, CA, US Full-time +1 Reporting to the Program Manager of Supportive Services and with independent professional responsibility, the Housing Specialist is responsible for the development of a housing relocation plan to a…
