Work Schedule:

Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity Sitting at the heart of Ally’s Treasury Organization, the Funding Desk’s key responsibilities are to manage enterprise liquidity, generate short-term cash flow forecasts and monitor encumbrance of assets. The Funding Desk Team offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where learning and growth are a key focus. The Funding Desk works in partnership with Liquidity Risk Group and other teams to establish a robust funding plan to manage short-term liquidity. This high visibility function has daily interactions with the funding markets and internally across most Treasury functions and business lines. The Funding Desk Analyst II position will report to the Director of the Funding Desk and be part of a dynamic Treasury Funding Desk and will be responsible for managing daily enterprise liquidity through understanding of daily cash flows and execution of market-based funding products. This role will have high exposure to wholesale funding markets, and other functional areas across Treasury organization and internal business lines. The Work Itself Understand major cash inflows and outflows and monitor appropriate cash balance throughout the day to ensure end-of-day cash balances meet all internal targets and guidelines. Assist in preparation of a daily short-term liquidity forecast. Evaluate various funding sources including FHLB advances, Repo, Brokered CD, Retail Term Notes and Federal liquidity programs to manage daily enterprise liquidity. Interact and develop relationships with broker dealers across various funding products and markets. Partner with Liquidity Risk Group, Balance Sheet Management, Capital Markets Team, and other business lines to assist in developing funding plans to meet liquidity needs. Gain understanding of short-term interest rates markets, monetary policy and other drivers impacting short term funding markets. Learn Ally Liquidity position and related risks, support management of Liquidity Risk. The Skills You Bring Bachelor’s degree required; preferred degree in finance, accounting, or economics 1+ year of relevant experience and a basic understanding of balance sheet and income statement dynamics Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Takes initiative and is strategic thinker. Base Pay Range :

$55000 – $80000 USD An individual’s position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation:

This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
