IMMEDIATE JOB DESCRIPTION
REVIEW
CURRENT OUSTSANDING INSURANCE CLAIMS EAGLESOFT REPORT AND DETERMINE WHY INSURANCES HAVEN’T PAID/ENTER PAST CLAIMS PAYMENTS/CLEAN UP CURRENT AR AND THE ACCOUNTS/CLOSE OPEN INSURANCE CLAIMS.
This position involves:
- presenting dental treatment financial contracts and dental treatment plans to parents
- making financial payment arrangements
- insurance filing and billing as well as accounts receivable follow up.
Other job duties will include:
- verifying insurance/understand insurance coverage,
- submitting claims & pre-authorizations
- claim follow-up
- posting treatment and payments
- answering multi-line phone system
- assisting caregivers with payments
- 5 Star customer care service
- check in/out patients Previous dental front office and clinical dentistry are essential.
Patterson Eaglesoft dental experience required along with an understanding of dental insurance, PPOs, EOBs. Must be able to establish collection protocol for dental treatment and coordination of insurance benefits. The successful candidate will be able to educate our patients on the importance of continuing their treatment plans and understand dental terminology.
