Job Summary Position Overview A well-established financial services company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their Finance team. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, conducting in-depth financial and business analysis, and leading the calculation and forecasting of loan loss provisions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically minded, and able to effectively communicate financial insights to cross-functional stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including executive management and regulatory agencies. Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives. Conduct variance analyses to explain financial performance and provide actionable recommendations. Perform in-depth analysis of loan portfolio performance, credit trends, and economic indicators to support loan loss reserve calculations. Collaborate with lending and risk teams to assess credit risk and refine forecasting models. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to guide business decisions. Assist in the preparation of Board presentations and other executive-level reporting. Support audit and regulatory exam processes as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting, ideally within a financial institution, bank, or credit union. Strong knowledge of financial reporting principles, loan accounting, and credit risk modeling. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools). Experience with CECL or loan loss reserve methodologies is strongly preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
