JOB SUMMARY
To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member. Take full charge of payroll and fiscal analyst responsibilities supporting the Fiscal Department. Full management of the payroll system, completing the monthly invoice reconciliation between the payroll system and the vendors, maintain accurate records and reporting of payroll costs. Communicate with employees and supervisors to solve payroll related problems and work with minimal supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with 3-5 years of specific experience. Minimum four years of experience in payroll and fiscal activities. Work experience should include knowledge of basic human resources, payroll practices, payroll law, general ledger accounting, or other related experience. Must have strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including payroll, accounting, time & attendance and HRIS and self-service systems. Experience with ADP Workforce Now. Strong background in computer data input with accuracy. Should be able to understand data processes and computer-generated reports, report writing and setting up and maintain interfacing within multiple ERP systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Experience with bookkeeping, payroll and timekeeping. Needs to possess excellent math and communications skills with the ability to work with all levels of staff.
The ideal candidate must reside within a 40-mile radius of the office as this position requires onsite work.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Prepare and process complete payroll via ADP Workforce Now and time and attendance software
Process payroll for hourly, salaried, and temporary employees; including reviewing and importing hours from time and attendance system, entering tax and direct deposit information, administering regulatory requirements, e.g., garnishments, tax levies, and support orders, and other adjustments to pay as necessary.
Process all changes to employees, prorate, retros, payouts in system
Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and consult with human resources team to improve payroll and HRIS processes.
Evaluate and implement payroll/HRIS systems upgrades and changes to stay current of changes.
Generate biweekly payroll journal entry and perform monthly analysis of payroll expenses
Prepare quarterly tax credit reports and submit them to third party vendor.
Maintain employee records in payroll/HRIS systems.
Administer the time and attendance policy and paid leave policy for all employees.
Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports pertaining to payroll and cost management

% on site ( 3 days in office, 2 days remote) based on work performance
