Bail Bondsman 10-74 Bail Bonds 407 Mcbrayer Street, Shelby, NC 28150 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bail Bondsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing services to clients in need of bail, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and facilitating the release of individuals from custody. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of financial processes, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Requirements :

You must be a resident of the state of North Carolina for at least six consecutive months before making application for a bail bondsman and/or bail bond runner license. You must be at least 21 years of age. Have obtained a high school diploma or its equivalent. Have knowledge, training, or experience of sufficient duration and extent to provide the competence necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of a licensee. Have no outstanding bail bond obligations Have no current or prior violations of Article 71 of Chapter 58 of the North Carolina General Statutes or of Article 26 of Chapter 15A of the North Carolina General Statutes. Not have been in any manner disqualified under North Carolina law or any other state to engage in the bail bond business. Hold a valid and current North Carolina driver’s license or valid North Carolina identification card issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles. Process bail applications and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately. Utilize financial software to manage client accounts and track transactions. Conduct interviews with clients to assess their needs and provide guidance throughout the bail process. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with NCDOI regulations. Perform basic math calculations related to contracts and bail amounts. Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and record management. Qualifications Previous experience or current work in bail industry welcome and encouraged to apply. Proficient in basic math skills to accurately calculate bail amounts and fees. Familiarity with financial software applications is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients. Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
