This critical leadership role will guide a multi-functional on and offshore team across benefit verification, utilization review, coding, billing, collections, medical records, and payment posting to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-performing processes that support our mission of delivering quality behavioral and mental healthcare.

VP of Revenue Cycle Management Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities Provide strong leadership and direction to the revenue cycle team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Analyze current revenue cycle processes and identify opportunities for optimization, streamlining workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess revenue cycle performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to achieve targets. Develop and mentor revenue cycle staff, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance their skills and competencies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, payer policies, and industry standards, implementing policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks. Leverage technology solutions to enhance revenue cycle operations, including revenue cycle management software, electronic health records (EHR), and billing systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, implementing strategies to maximize revenue capture and minimize revenue leakage. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, billing, coding, and clinical departments, to optimize revenue cycle processes and achieve organizational goals. Implement quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of revenue cycle data, conducting audits and assessments as needed. Generate and analyze reports on revenue cycle performance, presenting findings to senior management and stakeholders to inform decision-making. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field — OR equivalent work experience in revenue cycle leadership. Minimum 8 years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably in behavioral or mental health settings. Minimum 1 year of experience in revenue cycle management, in behavioral or mental health settings. Experience managing multi-site or multi-entity operations, including Medicaid, in-network, out-of-network, and private pay billing. Hands-on experience with EMR/billing software (e.g., CMD, Kipu, Salesforce, Power BI).
Demonstrated expertise in RCM functions:
VOB, UR, Coding, Billing, Collections, and Payment Posting. Knowledge of regulatory requirements (HIPAA, Joint Commission, state and federal payer regulations). Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing RCM for facilities with 1,000+ beds or equivalent patient volume. Proven ability to design and implement RCM technology solutions and process improvements. Familiarity with additional tools such as Ritten and Inbox Health. High emotional intelligence with a collaborative leadership style. Analytical mindset with a proven ability to drive operational change through data.
