Accounting Manager Position Available In Albany, New York

Work Schedule

• This role has a varied schedule based on the tax season:
• February 1st
• April 15th (approximately 10 weeks): Expect to work around 65 hours per week
• Remaining 42 weeks: The standard work week is 37.50 hours. This typically breaks down to 8:00 AM
• 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (with a one hour lunch), and 8:00 AM
• 1:30 PM on Fridays (no lunch)Benefits

• Manage 3+ staff members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth-Engage in direct communication with clients, build strong relationships, and ensure client satisfaction-Project management to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting and tax engagements-Play a crucial role in transition clients from a retiring partner, ensuring a seamless experience and continuity of serviceSkills & Experience Required•7-10 years of CPA firm management experience-Proven leadership and client management skills-Exceptional technical expertise in tax and accounting-A drive to pursue a future partner trackAbout our client•They are a local certified public accountant firm that is committed to growth, collaboration, and fostering a supportive environment to their team.
