Full Job Description Job Summary:

A dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Services Administrator is needed to support the Finance Department in a variety of essential functions. This role will involve managing student accounts, overseeing financial aid processes, handling daily cash management, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, maintaining financial records, and contributing to departmental procedures. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and analytical skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Aid Administration:

Manage and process financial aid, including document collection, eligibility review, calculation of awards, and proper disbursement of scholarships and grants. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and institutional policies.

Student Account Management:

Oversee student billing and payments. Monitor accounts, post transactions, and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure accuracy and timely updates.

Cash Management:

Manage daily cash transactions, ensuring all entries are recorded accurately and reconciled.

Purchase Order Oversight:

Administer the purchase order process, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place.

Account Reconciliation:

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate and complete financial records.

Accounts Payable/Receivable Maintenance:

Organize and maintain up-to-date AP and AR files. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Assist with drafting and maintaining SOPs for Finance Department functions.

Additional Duties:

Support the Finance Department with other administrative and accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree preferred; not required Proficiency with accounting systems, student information platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Clear and professional written and verbal communication. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
