Do you want to help build a streaming service that carries the iconic MGM brand name? Are you interested in helping to shape the international media and entertainment landscape? MGM+ global is a movie and series streaming service that is wholly-owned and operated by Amazon. The service offers programming that is curated to align with the MGM brand. This means everything from MGM catalogue classics such as Bond, Rocky, and Legally Blonde. Key job responsibilities Lead financial planning and analysis for MGM+ streaming service, including content investment analysis Develop and maintain complex financial models for subscriber growth, revenue forecasting, and content ROI Partner with content acquisition, marketing, and technology teams to analyze business performance Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets Analyze key streaming metrics and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions Prepare financial reports for MGM+ leadership Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends within premium streaming space Perform monthly and quarterly financial variance analysis
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience MBA, or CPA Knowledge of SQL/ETL Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
