 Description We are looking for an experienced P/E Mngmt Company Controller to join our team in New York, New York, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing corporate accounting operations while managing and supporting less experienced team members. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate and ensure smooth financial processes within a private equity environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee corporate management company accounting activities, including reconciliations and month-end processes. Maintain daily operational oversight and ensure timely completion of accounting tasks. Collaborate with third-party fund administrators to coordinate fund operations. Supervise and mentor two less experienced accounting staff, providing guidance and support. Ensure accuracy in accounts receivable processes and financial audits. Implement and monitor budget procedures to optimize financial performance. Utilize accounting software systems to streamline workflows and increase efficiency. Ensure compliance with private equity fund regulations and standards. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of management company accounting experience, with a strong background in private equity. Expertise in complex private equity investment structures and corporate accounting practices. Proficiency in managing accounts receivable and performing reconciliations. Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor less experienced staff effectively. Advanced knowledge of accounting software systems. Strong understanding of auditing processes and budget management.
