The Project Accounting Manager willreport directly to the Controller and will manage differentprojects for multiple divisions. The successful candidate should becomfortable as a “doer” on day-to-day accounting and financeoperations. The Project Accounting Manager should be experienced inall aspects of financial management, including corporateaccounting, financial reporting, financial consolidation, and anin-depth knowledge of internal control policies and procedures. Youwill be working on projects throughout several different divisionsso collaboration is a must. This position will also be responsiblefor the oversight of payroll for 6 divisions using Paylocity.

Responsibilities:
- Process and/or oversee bi-weekly and weekly payroll processing for6 divisions.
- Lead the finance function in ERP implementations,including planning and executing UAT. Solid understanding of ERPsystems and how transactions flow and impact the relevantsubsidiary ledgers and general ledger.
- Support SOX implementation
- Assist Corporate Controller with the management of all accountingoperations.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliancewith US GAAP, as needed.
- Develop and document business processesand accounting policies and maintain and strengthen internalcontrols. Assist with streamlining and harmonizing accountingprocesses across multiple sites.
- Lead cross-training initiatives
- Provide cost support to business units as requested. Also supportbids for new business.
- Work with Corporate Controller tounderstand performance standards and other metrics to driveimprovement in operational performance.
- Additional StaffAccounting duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degreein accounting or equivalent combination of education andexperience. CPA is strongly preferred.
- Preferably 7 years’experience in financial accounting in a manufacturing environmentrequired.
- Proficient with the use of ERP systems and ability topull detail data to support account analysis.
- Proficient inMicrosoft Office programs: Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Excellent written andcommunication skills.
- Excellent time management, projectmanagement and planning skills required.
- Attention to detail.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to workin a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to multi-task andwork with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Energetic, passionate and positive can-do attitude a must.
- Paylocity experience a plus.
