We utilize NextGen for our EMR/billing system. Looking for someone with experience in prior authorizations. Knowledge of insurance portals preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience preferred. NextGen office experience preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Main duties involve ensuring that patients receive necessary medical treatment and services by obtaining the the required authorization from insurance companies. This included verifying patient eligibility, reviewing medical information , and communicating with insurance providers and patients to secure prior authorizations for diagnostic exams. Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, and provides information. Provides front desk coverage as necessary.
