Job Description:
Role Description These are full time roles for an Underwriter Assistants, Underwriters, and Senior Underwriters, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Underwriting team reviews application information evaluates risk factors, and processes insurance policies. They will also be responsible for data entry, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer service to clients. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, assisting in risk assessments, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficient workflow.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience with risk assessment and reviewing application information
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
