This regional underwriting role is situated within the Wholesale Casualty Underwriting. You will be working closely with the Wholesale regional head and regional underwriters, and you are responsible for: Sub-market unit Casualty and FinPro portfolio management
Quote general liability risks in the region.
Grow CorSo’ presence in Mexico, Central America and Caribbean while keeping our strong position in the South cone: Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
Manage a team of seven underwriters spread across Mexico, Brazil and US, Miami focusing on profitable growth. You will be interacting with other Swiss Re functions across other countries (USA, Switzerland, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and United Kingdom.

Ability to hunt for business based on Swiss RE Corporate Solutions Global Risk Appetite
Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese are a must. Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office three days per week. This role is not eligible for either relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $156,000 to $246,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.
