Job Summary :

Leading manufacturing company headquartered in Miami (Doral) is seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to join its Finance & Accounting team as soon as possible. The Payroll Manager will oversee the company’s payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing for its entire workforce of 300+ people. This is a hybrid position (3 days/week in-office, and 2 days/week remote) based in the company’s headquarters located in Doral, Miami. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7+ years of payroll experience, of which 2+ years overseeing at least 1 direct report. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for [number] employees across multiple shifts and locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Administer payroll systems (e.g., [ADP, Paychex, or specific software]), including updates, data entry, and reporting. Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. Ensure compliance with tax laws, wage garnishments, and union agreements (if applicable). Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including labor cost analysis, for leadership and budgeting purposes. Supervise and train a small payroll team, fostering efficiency and accountability. Collaborate with HR to manage employee benefits deductions, timekeeping, and onboarding/offboarding processes. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data and uphold internal controls. Stay updated on payroll regulations and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Support audits by providing accurate payroll records and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field; CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred. 4 to 7+ years of payroll experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role. Experience in manufacturing or similar industries with complex payroll structures (e.g., shift differentials, overtime) strongly preferred. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems a plus. In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and labor laws. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
