Chesterfield, MO We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage day-to-day payroll processing across multiple tax entities and locations. Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process payroll across various entities, locations, and pay cycles Manage and enter data for timekeeping, earnings, deductions, taxes, wage garnishments, and payroll adjustments Ensure payroll is in compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Review, verify, and audit payroll data prior to timely submission to payroll provider Maintain and enter tax information and verify proper jurisdiction coding for all associates Handle and respond to all legal orders including garnishments, tax levies, and child support Coordinate associate transfers and confirm accurate tax implications are applied Respond promptly to associate and management inquiries, both written and verbal Collaborate with the Payroll Supervisor to resolve complex issues and escalate when necessary Conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of payroll processing experience , preferably in a multi-entity/multi-location environment Strong knowledge of FLSA and applicable federal, state, and local tax laws Experience handling wage garnishments, tax levies, and other withholdings High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in payroll software systems and
