• Build Client Relationships
• Conduct professionalclient conversations that build and sustain trust and credibility.
• Discover key life events happening with clients to ensure bankproducts and services are meeting financial needs.
• Recommend andprovide accounts, loans, and services that match clients’ financialneeds.
• Promote bank products and services within and outside thebank.
• Proactively make referrals to bank partners that result inadditional revenue to the bank.
• Demonstrate operational soundnessto minimize risk exposure or loss and maintain quality production.
• Adhere to operating procedures and protocols. 2. Deliver aConsistently Superior Client Experience
• Demonstrate excellentcustomer service skills.
• Behave in a manner to create awelcoming, engaging, professional environment for clients toexperience.
• Proactively resolve client issues in absence of or asdirected by Bank Manager.
• Respond to routine client inquiries andrequests.
• Perform teller duties as needed and process clienttransactions.
• Approve transactions for other employees withinyour assigned authority limit.
• Assist with bank opening and/orclosing as directed. 3. Demonstrate Compliance with Applicable Lawsand Regulations
• Understand and follow applicable laws andregulations for your job responsibilities, including but notlimited to Equity Bank Business Ethics and Conduct policy, BankSecrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Information Security,Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements, policies, andprocedures.
• Follow deposit account opening procedures andinternal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes,as appropriate for this position.
• Actively work with clients tounderstand each client’s normal account activity, as appropriatefor this position.
• Complete periodic compliance training.
• Regular and Reliable Attendance 4. Perform other duties as assignedor required. Required Skills & Education
• High School Diploma orequivalent
• Previous banking experience preferred
• Excellentinterpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Computerproficiency in Windows-based systems
• Ability to maintain a highdegree of confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail andorganizational skills
