The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax preparation, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. You will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their tax filings, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations, and providing guidance on financial concepts. This position requires proficiency in various financial software, including QuickBooks and other accounting software. Responsibilities Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Review financial records to determine tax liabilities and deductions. Provide expert advice on tax-related issues, ensuring compliance with current laws. Utilize financial software to manage client data and streamline the preparation process. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and changes in the market. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries. Assist clients in understanding financial concepts related to their tax situations. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of all tax filings. Requirements Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is preferred. Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and financial concepts.
