Assistant Controller 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Baton Rouge, LA 70814 Job Summary We’re seeking a strategic finance leader to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support executive decision-making. Reporting to the President and CFO, this role will drive financial planning, optimize costs, and lead a high-performing finance team. Key Responsibilities Manage month-end close, accounting, and compliance activities Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses Prepare and analyze financial reports with insights for leadership Partner cross-functionally on budgeting and efficiency initiatives Lead annual budgets, long-range planning, and performance tracking Maintain strong internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance Present financial updates to senior leadership and stakeholders Mentor and grow the finance and accounting team Qualifications Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/CMA/MBA preferred) 5+ years in financial leadership, including 3+ years in a controller role Skilled in modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis Strong Excel and ERP experience (INFOR or similar a plus) Effective communicator with strong leadership and analytical skills High integrity, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced settings
