Controller We are looking for an interim Controller to join aSpringfield, MA area Credit Union. This is a long-term contract positionoffering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the organization’sfinancial operations and reporting. The ideal candidate will bringexpertise in accounting, internal controls, and compliance to ensureaccurate and efficient financial management.

Responsibilities:

Prepareand analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance withregulatory standards. Perform account reconciliations to maintainintegrity within general ledger accounts. Oversee internal controlprocesses to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financialpolicies. Manage internal and external reporting requirements, adheringto organizational and regulatory guidelines. Conduct profitabilityanalysis to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.

Handle reporting related to Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) inalignment with industry standards. Collaborate with auditing teams tosupport financial reviews and ensure adherence to FASB guidelines.

Monitor banking compliance and ensure alignment with applicable laws andregulations. Provide insights into financial operations to enhanceefficiency and long-term profitability. Requirements Proven experiencein auditing and financial reporting within a corporate setting. Strongknowledge of internal controls and compliance practices. Familiaritywith banking regulations and standards. Proficiency in accountreconciliation and general ledger management. Comprehensiveunderstanding of FASB guidelines and their application. Ability toanalyze profitability and interpret financial data effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strongcommunication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience with Prologue preferred Banking / Credit Union experience . ..
